Demolition crew discovers decomposed body in vacant lot in Point Breeze

POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating after a demolition crew discovered a badly decomposed body inside a vacant lot in Point Breeze.

The discovery was made around 2 p.m. Tuesday along the 1300 block of Point Breeze Avenue.

Police said a demolition crew was working when the body was discovered.

The body was badly decomposed, but officials determined it was a man.

At this time, it's not clear how the body got there or how the man died.
