BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- Police in Delaware are looking for a man accused of home improvement fraud.

44-year-old Michael Wilson allegedly scammed an elderly homeowner in Bear.

Police say they were called to a home on the 1300 block of Donna Marie Way last Monday night for a fraud report.

When officers arrived, a 72-year-old man told them he had paid Wilson $4,500 for a roof repair, but the work was never completed.

The man's neighbor witnessed the alleged fraud and talked to Action News, telling us, "We had to fix his roof. I mean, literally, we had to fix it. His son-in-law drove from Connecticut - it was awful."

The neighbor claims that Wilson and his crew left holes in the roof.

The Delaware Attorney General's office says Wilson is facing a 34 count criminal indictment of home improvement fraud, theft and conspiracy.

If you know Wilson's whereabouts, you are urged to call crime stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
