A Delaware County politician who pleaded guilty to forgery and theft learned his fate Wednesday.

A Delaware County politician who pleaded guilty to forgery and theft learned his fate Wednesday.

James Bryan was sentenced to 52 to 132 months in state prison.

He was also ordered to 7 years probation and ordered to pay close to $3-million in restitution.

He was accused of stealing millions from his former employer, Westcott Electric, to feed a gambling habit.

Bryan once served as a Collingdale councilman.

He also ran for a magisterial judge position.
