Dog held for ransom in Atlanta

A small toy poodle is being held for ransom in Atlanta, Georgia.

Chelsea Brown says burglars ransacked her apartment last weekend, and stole her dog, Murphy.

Brown and her roommate put up missing pet signs.

The next day, they believe a burglar called the number, demanding the $500 reward offered on craigslist.

Burglary victim, Alex Tyler said, "I've been walking around the neighborhood, we've been all crying for days, walking around the neighborhood, putting up flyers everywhere. He was like a child to us. We just want him back, questions asked," said

The roommates got police involved the next time the burglars called back.

But so far, they have not been caught and Murphy has not been returned.
