NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A double shooting in North Philadelphia has killed one man and left another man critically injured.
The shooting happened just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday along the 700 block of East Russell Street.
Both victims were transported to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle.
A 36-year-old Hispanic male sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, leg, and torso areas; and was later pronounced dead.
The second victim, a 28-year-old Hispanic male, was shot multiple times all over his body and immediately taken to surgery.
Police say no arrests have been made, and so far no word on a motive for the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing with the Homicide Unit.
