Downed tree affects power in Manayunk

MANAYUNK (WPVI) -- A tree that has fallen onto electrical wires is affecting power for residents in Philadelphia's Manayunk section.

It happened around 4:20 p.m. Friday along Leverington Avenue near Silverwood.

Officials have not said what caused the tree to fall.

No injuries have been reported, but power has been affected in the area.

PECO has been called out.

The street is roped off as crews work to clear the scene.
