Drifting baby rescued out at sea in Turkey

TURKEY (WPVI) -- The Turkish coast guard saved a baby girl who had drifted out to sea in an inflatable raft.

Authorities say the girl's parents didn't realize she was gone until other beachgoers spotted the child floating out in the water.

The 10-month-old was about half a mile out, before rescuers brought her back to her family.

The incident happened off the coast of Ayvacik, which is on the western tip of Turkey.
