Driver, 3 pedestrians injured in Newark crash

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- A two-vehicle crash in Newark, Delaware injured an elderly driver and three pedestrians.

It happened around 5:00 p.m. Wednesday near Capitol Trail and Darwin Drive.

Authorities say a Honda and a Dodge collided.

An 88-year-old man, who was the driver of one of the vehicles, was hospitalized in stable condition.

Two 15-year-old girls and a 13-year-old girl, who were struck during the collision, were also hospitalized in stable condition.

The second driver declined medical treatment.

No word what caused the crash.

Police are investigating.
