Driver arrested for DUI after Broad Street crash

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- A driver was arrested for DUI after a crash on Broad Street that injured three people including himself.

It happened around 3 a.m. Sunday on the 4200 block of Broad Street in Hunting Park.

Police say the vehicle slammed into two parked SUVs.

The 33-year-old male driver suffered head trauma and a broken hip and leg. He was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

The front passenger, a 33-year-old man, was taken to Einstein Medical Center by medics with a head laceration and is in stable condition.

The rear passenger, a 32-year-old man, suffered a head laceration and is in stable condition at Temple.
