Driver crashes into hair salon in Olney, 2 injured

Police say two people were hurt after a driver crashed into a hair salon in Philadelphia's Olney section early Tuesday morning.

The accident happened around 12:15 a.m. on the 200 block of West Champlost Avenue.

The 24-year-old driver and the 21-year-old passenger suffered head and neck injuries.

Both were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Building inspectors and PGW crews were called to check for damage.

So far, there is no word on why the driver lost control of the vehicle.
