WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police have identified a motorist killed in a rollover crash on Route 202 in Wilmington.

28-year-old Devaun Johnson of New Castle died when his 2003 Ford Explorer crossed from the southbound lanes into the northbound lanes of Route 202 and struck a stone wall.

It happened at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday approaching Foulk Road.

Police say the SUV rolled after hitting the wall, coming to rest on its roof in the right lane of Route 202 North.

Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.

All lanes of Route 202 North and one lane 202 South were closed for about four hours as police investigated and crews cleared the wreckage.

Investigators are working to determine what caused Johnson to lose control of the SUV.
