Police say a driver was slashed with a box cutter in an apparent case of road rage in Gloucester Township.

GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say a driver was slashed with a box cutter in an apparent case of road rage in Gloucester Township.

Police say it happened around 4:40 p.m. Friday along the 1200 block of Blackwood-Clementon Road.

An initial investigation revealed that 55-year-old Carl Constantino approached another driver identified as 49-year-old Michael Brown.

That's when police say Brown swung a box cutter and slashed Constantino in the hand.

Brown fled from officers but was soon captured.

Constantino declined medical treatment.

Police say both men refused to cooperate with the investigation.

As for Brown, he was taken into custody and faces charges for eluding police.
