VIDEO: Suspects steal credit cards from senior citizen
Philadelphia police are looking for a duo who ripped off a senior citizen as she shopped earlier this month.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for a duo who ripped off a senior citizen as she shopped earlier this month.

The two suspects are seen clearly in a series of pictures police released Tuesday, taken at various stores.

It began at the Kohls Department store on Henry Avenue in Andorra.

The thieves approached a 78-year-old woman inside the store. Police say the man distracted her while the female suspect dipped into the victim's pocketbook.

She got her wallet with her identification and credit cards.

The pair of thieves then left the store and went on a shopping spree.

Over the next hour and a half they were captured on video surveillance at a Macy's department store in the Northeast, and at two convenience stores along Roosevelt Boulevard.

Police say they ran up a tab of more than $3,500, buying electronics and gift cards.

Thefts like this usually come in waves, and police once again warn female shoppers to keep their handbags close and not loose in the shopping cart.

The police want to hear from you if you think you recognize the suspects.
