Elderly woman seriously hurt, mom and kids injured in crash

TALLEYVILLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police are investigating an accident in Talleyville that injured a mother, her two children, and another woman.

The accident occurred shortly before 10:00 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Shipley and Wilson roads.

Officials say two vehicles collided, causing an SUV to also strike a light pole.

Police say an elderly woman was seriously injured during the crash.

A mother and her two small children received minor injuries.

All were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
