Family escapes house fire in South Philly

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A family was able to escape a house fire in South Philadelphia.

It happened around 9:10 p.m. Sunday on the 1500 block of South Bailey Street.

Arriving firefighters were met heavy flames coming from the 2nd floor of a home.

Everyone inside was able to escape without injury.

No word what caused the blaze.
