Fatal shooting victim involved in Chester crash

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating an accident and a fatal shooting in Chester.

Just before noon Tuesday, Chester police officers were called to the area of 9th and Tilghman streets for an accident involving a shooting victim.

Police say the vehicle, a burgundy Oldsmobile, had struck a gas main.

The 20-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to the forehead and right shoulder.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
