Fire breaks out in Springfield, Delaware County

SPRINGFIELD, Pa. (WPVI) -- Firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire in Springfield, Delaware County.

Crews were called around 5:30 p.m. Monday to the 200 block of Hemlock Lane.

When they arrived they found heavy fire in the home.

Golfers at the nearby Rolling Green Golf Club ran to warn the residents they saw smoke and everyone got out in time.

There were no reported injuries.
