A firefighter suffered minor injuries after a house fire in Montgomery Township, possibly caused by lightning.

MONTGOMERY TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A firefighter suffered minor injuries after a house fire in Montgomery Township, possibly caused by lightning.

It happened around 7:00 p.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of Raven Hollow Drive.

A neighbor reportedly heard a loud bang and rushed to warn the resident to get out.

Flames were reported coming from the roof of the two-story home.

A firefighter battling the blaze suffered a minor facial injury.

No one else was injured.

The exact cause of the fire is still unknown.
