Firefighter injured battling Northampton house fire

NORTHAMPTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- A firefighter suffered minor injuries while battling a house fire in Northampton, Bucks County.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Bridgetown Pike.

Firefighters were met with smoke and flames coming from the roof of the one story home.

Crews were forced to ventilate the roof to bring the fire under control.

One firefighter suffered a cut to the hand.

No word yet on the cause.
