Firefighters battle suspicious blaze in Torresdale

Fire crews were on the scene of a suspicious blaze inside a house in Philadelphia's Torresdale section early Friday morning.

The fire broke out just before 2:30 a.m. on the 8600 block of Rose Lane.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke throughout the house and the area.

They also discovered a liquid accelerant near the scene of the fire.

There were no reports of injuries.

The fire marshal arrived to investigate the blaze.

Police are treating the area as a crime scene.
