BAYTOWN, TX -- When a man suffered a heart attack while mowing his lawn, firefighters not only made sure he made it to the hospital - they also finished mowing his lawn.

It happened on Tuesday, according to a statement on the Facebook page for the city of Baytown, Texas.

Firefighters even left a message for the patient's wife, which read in part, "We felt bad that your husband didn't get to finish the yard, so we did. We also noticed the padlock to the garage was unlocked so we locked it and placed your key in the mailbox."

Firefighters also let the woman know they would be there for her if she needed them.

"We are very sorry that your husband became ill, we hope he has a speedy recovery," they said. "Let us know if there is anything we can do to help you out."
