CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Crews rescued a person from the roof of a burning building in Camden, New Jersey.

The fire started around 1:30 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Mt. Ephraim Avenue.

It is the 14th fire in Camden during the holiday weekend.

Most of the fires happened in vacant homes within a one-mile radius.

All happened during the day so investigators are hoping someone may have seen something that can help in their investigation.

Business owner Ernest Hall said Monday he thought his new security system caught the suspect.

"We get here, we would be able to run the tape, look and be able to see everything that's going in," said Hall, victim. "That's why I had it put on the outside and the inside, but nothing was turned on."

Seven firefighters suffered minor injuries fighting the fires.
