Flyers fans get a break from the heat
Flyers fans got to keep cool inside the Wells Fargo Center Tuesday

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Flyers fans got to keep cool inside the Wells Fargo Center Tuesday.

The doors opened for anyone who wanted to go behind the scenes for the ice-making process.

Crews put down the first frozen layer and stenciled the lines and logos before filling them in with paint.

After that they spray flooded the surface until the ice was a full inch thick.

They use more than ten thousand gallons of water in this day-long process
