Former marine's mission to help homeless veterans

BALA CYNWYD, Pa. -- A former marine is on a mission to help homeless veterans get back on their feet.

Fred Silhol creates Apartment Starter Kits.

The kits include the essentials like pots and pans, paper towels and blankets, all things needed when you move into a home.

Silhol partnered with Volunteers of America to get the project up and running.

And Tuesday Great Clips salon donated 5-hundred dollars to their cause.
