Gas leak investigated in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Fire crews responded Thursday to a gas leak in South Philadelphia.

The incident happened just before 11:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Carpenter Street.

No evacuations were called.

It is not clear what caused the leak.

The situation remains under investigation.
