NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Water Department crews capped a geyser shooting from a Northeast Philadelphia street.

It was caused when a piece of equipment on an underground main cracked at Crispin Street and Willits Road just before 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The crack sent the water jet spraying above the tree line.

Fortunately, no customers lost service during the incident.
