Girl, 14, shot and wounded in Wilmington, Delaware

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A 14-year old girl is recovering after being shot early Thursday in Wilmington.

Police are currently investigating three crime scenes that they think are connected to the shooting.

Police found the teen at 5th & Pine streets, suffering from a gunshot to the shoulder.

They believe she was actually shot several blocks away, while inside a car.

A vehicle that police found in a third location, about two miles away, was riddled with bullets.

The driver was able to run away.

A passenger from that vehicle was being questioned by police.
