Officials say a 4-year-old girl was injured after falling from a window in Berks County.

LAURELDALE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Officials say a 4-year-old girl was injured after falling from a window in Berks County.

It happened around 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Jefferson Heights Development in the 1600 block of Lincoln Court in Laureldale, Mulhenburg Township.

Authorities say the girl fell from a second story window.

She was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital. No word on her condition.

It's not clear who was in the house with the child when she fell.

The incident is under investigation.
