Giving the gift of life

WYNNEWOOD, Pa. (WPVI) -- There is always a need for blood donations and a local hospital helped by asking people to give a pint.

Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Montgomery county hosted a blood drive Monday, sponsored by the American Red Cross.

This is one of the larger community blood drives in the area, and among the many people who turned out, was our own meteorologist David Murphy.

David says people like to always ask him about the forecast, where ever he goes, and it was no different here at Lankenau.

Certainly the outlook is always sunny when you help the red-cross, by being a blood donor.
