POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- Residents in the Point Breeze neighborhood of Philadelphia ran for cover as gunfire rang out late Tuesday night.
The incident happened around 11:35 p.m. on the 2000 block of Dickinson Street near Colorado Street.
Police say an unidentified man was shot in the leg.
Three vehicles and one woman's home, including the gas meter, were struck by the bullets which caused a gas leak.
Another home's front window was pierced by the barrage of gunfire.
Firefighters arrived and shut the gas off at the woman's home.
PGW was also called to the scene.
A short time earlier and a few blocks away, police found 45 shell casings in the 1500 block of South Woodstock Street.
Officials say the types of shell casings found, indicate there was more than one shooter.
One man was wounded there as well.
Police are investigating.
