VIDEO: Gunman sought in 7-Eleven attempted robbery in Olney
Police are searching for the armed suspect who held up a 7-Eleven store in Philadelphia's Olney section early Thursday morning.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police have released surveillance video of an armed suspect who held up a 7-Eleven store in Philadelphia's Olney section early Thursday morning.

The robbery happened just before 2:30 a.m. on the 1800 block of Stenton Avenue.

According to police, the suspect entered the store, walked to the counter and asked to purchase a cigar.

As the employee reached for a cigar, the suspect pointed a gun at him and stated: "Look, you already know what this is."

The clerk opened the cash register and placed the drawer on the counter.

That's when the suspect grabbed $15 from the drawer and a pack of cigarettes before fleeing on foot.

He was last seen running toward Chelten Avenue.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, 18-20 years-of-age, 5'7" with a thin build and medium complexion. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a "Ghostbusters 2" logo on the front, light colored pants and blue, purple, and red sneakers.
