Hazmat crews were called to the VA Hospital in University City for a possible gas leak.

The crews were called the hospital at 3900 Woodland Avenue shortly before 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

They are investigating reports of a Ethyline Oxide leak.

According to OHSA's website, Ethylene oxide (EtO) is a flammable, colorless gas that smells like ether at toxic levels.

As a precaution, officials relocated workers from the area of the potential leak to another part of the building.

There have been no reports of any injuries.
