Headstone falls on, traps woman at cemetery in Queens, New York

GLENDALE, N.Y. (WPVI) -- Firefighters rescued a woman who was trapped under a headstone at a cemetery in Queens Wednesday.

The incident happened at about 4:45 p.m. at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery off Myrtle Avenue in Glendale.

According to FDNY, the headstone fell on top of the woman, trapping her underneath. Workers at the cemetery were able to lift the stone off the woman and free her a short time later.

The woman was taken to a hospital for evaluation. No word yet on any injuries.

There's no word yet what caused the gravestone to topple over.
