Heavy flames damage West Philadelphia house

Officials say heavy flames damaged a house in West Philadelphia early Thursday morning.

The fire broke out just before 4:00 a.m. on the 5100 block of Funston Street.

Firefighters arrived to heavy flames showing on the second floor.

The property is believed to be a vacant house.

There are no reports of injuries or word on what sparked the blaze.
