Officials say a home was completely gutted after a fire in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania late Monday night.

CHADDS FORD, Pa. (WPVI) -- Officials say a home was completely gutted after a fire in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania late Monday night.

Firefighters arrived shortly after 11:00 p.m. on the unit block of Camly Lane.

They say flames had already consumed the 2-story single family home.

According to officials, the house was empty because the Delaware County family was on vacation when the fire broke out.

Crews were hampered by water supply issues and they say, there were no hydrants in the area.

The house was located in a wooded area on a high hill and within an hour the house was gone.

So far, there is no word on what sparked the blaze.

No injuries were reported.
