Home invasion, robbery investigated in Strawberry Mansion

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a home invasion and robbery in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia.

The incident happened around 3:45 a.m. on the 3100 block of West Montgomery Avenue.

According to police, two men, one armed, broke into a house through a window that was taped with plastic.

They allegedly stole $6,000 in cash and cell phones before fleeing the home.

There were no injuries reported to the residents.
