Homeowner scares off Havertown burglar

HAVERTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Haverford police say a would-be burglar was scared off by a homeowner Tuesday, jumping from a second story balcony to make his escape.

It happened was around 2:15 p.m. when a bandit entered a home in the area of Darby and Eagle Roads.

The homeowner was at home the time and he yelled at the suspect. The suspect then fled the residence by jumping from a second-floor balcony.

The suspect remains on the loose.
