House hit with bullets in North Philadelphia; 3 women inside sleeping

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say someone fired shots at a house with three women sleeping inside in North Philadelphia.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. Friday on the 2700 block of West Silver Street.

Four bullets hit the house and smashed a window. Those shots were fired from across the street.

Police found 11 shell casings littered on the pavement.

The women were not injured.

There is no immediate word on why the house was targeted.

Police are searching for the shooter.
