SUFFERN, N.Y. (WPVI) -- A human fetus was found Friday morning at a sewer plant in New York.

Around 8 a.m., the human remains were found at the Village of Suffern sewer plant by crews cleaning the grid.

According to Suffern Police Chief Clark Osborn, the cause of death and age of the fetus are unknown. They don't know if it is the result of a homicide or a miscarriage, nor are they sure how the fetus ended up at the plant.
