Investigators seek those targeted by police impersonator

SPRINGFIELD TWP., Pa. -- Police in Springfield Township, Montgomery County are looking for anyone who was targeted by a police impersonator.

The investigation began on Tuesday when police received a call about an unmarked van with flashing lights stopping a car in the area of Church Road and Brent Road in the Oreland section.

Officers obtained the van's license plate number and found it was registered to Charles Grossman, a resident of Whitemarsh Township.

However, police have not been able to identify the person who was pulled over.

Investigators released a photo the van with its flashing light in hopes of finding anyone who was pulled over by Grossman.
