A federal judge in New Jersey ruled Thursday corruption charges against Sen. Bob Menendez will stand.

NEWARK (WPVI) -- A federal judge ruled Thursday corruption charges against New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez will stand.

The judge said Menendez failed to present any evidence suggesting the charges should be thrown out.

Earlier this year, the same judge dismissed four of the 22 counts against Menendez.

The senator plans to appeal the ruling.
