2-year-old fan of garbage trucks gets special surprise from collector
WASHINGTOWN TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- The mother of a 2-and-a-half-year-old boy from Washington Township, New Jersey, shared a heartwarming story about her son and his love of garbage trucks in the spirit of giving thanks.
Dylan's mom tells Action News he is "beyond obsessed" with garbage trucks.
She says he lives for "garbage truck Thursdays", and loves one collector so much she and Dylan go to a friend's block for pickup day just to see him.
On Tuesday, Christmas came a little early for Dylan when collector, and Dylan's friend, William Hoff, showed up with a sack of presents including a truck and his very own hat.
Dylan was so happy he even did a little dance.
His mom tells us there are heroes in the world, dreams do come true and kindness does prevail.
