Man, 25, shot near Temple University campus

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is critical after being shot in North Philadelphia near Temple University's campus.

The shooting happened around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday along the 2000 block of North Carlisle Street.

The victim, described as a 25-year-old male, was shot in the chest.

He was transported to Temple University Hospital for care.

At this time, no arrests have been made.

Temple University sent out an alert on their Twitter account about the shooting.
