Man and woman shot in Trenton

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say a man and a woman were shot outside a corner store in Trenton.

It happened around 4:30 Monday afternoon at the corner of St. Joes Avenue and Girard Avenue.

Authorities say three male suspects, dressed in black, opened fire.

A man and a woman were both hit. They were taken to an area hospital with what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.

No word if the victims were the intended targets. No word either on any arrests.

Police continue to investigate.
