Victim and suspect ID'd in Bridesburg fatal shooting

BRIDESBURG (WPVI) -- Police have arrested a man after a deadly shooting in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia.

The shooting occurred around 1:25 p.m. Thursday on the 2800 block of Orthodox Street.

When police arrived, they found 21-year-old Daniel Santiago suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police recovered a weapon.

Not long after, officers caught up with a suspect on the 4600 block of Edgemont Street.

The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Robert Diluzio, was positively identified by witnesses as the shooter and arrested.

Diluzio is charged with murder, violation of uniform act, robbery, and related offenses.
