Man arrested, woman injured in Camden barricade situation

CAMDEN, N.J. -- Police say a man was arrested and a woman was injured during a barricade situation in Camden, New Jersey early Wednesday morning.

Officers were called around 1:00 a.m. to the 300 block of Carl Miller Boulevard.

They say a man had reportedly barricaded himself inside a home and was holding one person.

Negotiations began with the man and police were able to get him out of the house.

He was taken into custody by officers.

Police say a woman was treated for injuries and is in stable condition.

Authorities have not released there names.
