Man brutally attacked outside liquor store in Juniata

JUNIATA PARK (WPVI) -- Police are looking for two suspects who were caught on camera brutally attacking a man outside of a liquor store in the city's Juniata section.

Philadelphia police have just released surveillance video from the incident back on August 17.

You can see the victim, a 60-year-old man, walking towards the front door of the Wine and Spirits Shop on the 1300 block of East Erie Avenue.

One man approaches him from behind, followed by a second suspect who pulls up beside him in a tow truck.

Suddenly, the men begin punching the victim repeatedly. Police say the victim was also hit in the head with an object.

The victim was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital with a cut to the back of his head and a cut on his lip.

If you see these suspects do not approach them, contact 911 immediately.
