Man charged in murder of ex-girlfriend in Upper Darby

UPPER DARBY, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police have officially charged a man with murder in the strangulation death of his ex-girlfriend in Upper Darby.

38-year-old DeSchae Lowery of West Philadelphia has been charged with murdering 38-year-old Masako Griffin.

Griffin's body was found Sunday, August 3rd.

Lowery was first taken into custody in Florida back in August, after he arrived at a police station in Griffin's car.

Lowery has since been extradited back to Pennsylvania and is being held without bail in a Delaware County prison.
