Man charged in sexual assault of minors in Chester County

TREDYFFRIN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police say a Fort Worth, Texas, man is facing several charges in connection with the sexual assault of minors in Chester County.

Michael James Haines Nathman, 22, is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a victim less than 16 years of age, indecent assault of a victim less than 13 years of age, endangering the welfare of children, indecent exposure, corruption of minors and other offenses.

Police say, between 2013 and 2015, Nathman is accused of sexually assaulting children in his care. The alleged sexual assaults took place in a hotel in Tredyffrin Township, Pennsylvania.

An arrest warrant was issued on March 2 for Nathman in connection to the charges.

He is currently serving time at the Somerset County Jail following his arrest in December 2015 by Detectives of the Hunterdon County Prosecutors Office on related charges.
