A 29-year-old man crashed his car after being shot six times in the Logan section of Philadelphia.

LOGAN (WPVI) -- A 29-year-old man crashed his car after being shot six times in the Logan section of Philadelphia.

Police say the victim was trying to drive himself to the hospital.

The shooting happened just before 9 a.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of Belfield Avenue.

Police say the man was struck twice in the left leg, once in the right leg, two times in the groin and once in the back.

He was driving himself to Einstein Medical Center when he collided with another vehicle on Windrem Avenue, police say.

The victim is listed in critical condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.
